Our Principles

The Principles of the Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is guided by four foundational principles: Faith, Community, Family, and Life. These principles serve as the bedrock of our mission, shaping the way we serve, protect, and uplift those around us.

-
Faith: As Catholic men, we are called to live out our faith boldly and with conviction. The Knights of Columbus fosters spiritual growth through prayer, service, and devotion to the Church. By strengthening our own faith, we become beacons of Christ’s love to the world.
-
Community: Service is at the heart of who we are. The Knights stand ready to support those in need—whether through charity, disaster relief, or acts of kindness that strengthen our parishes and neighborhoods. We believe that by working together, we can build a stronger, more compassionate society.
-
Family: The Knights of Columbus is deeply committed to supporting the family, recognizing it as the cornerstone of society. We promote programs that nurture marriages, protect children, and foster values that create loving, faith-filled homes. As Knights, we lead by example, helping families grow in unity and faith.
-
Life: Every human life is sacred, from conception to natural death. The Knights tirelessly advocate for the dignity of all life, standing in defense of the unborn, the vulnerable, and those facing hardship. Through our charitable efforts, we seek to uphold the sanctity of life and provide hope where it is needed most.

These four principles define what it means to be a Knight of Columbus. With faith as our foundation, we stand for our communities, strengthen our families, and protect the gift of life. Through charity, unity, and fraternity, we fulfill our duty as Catholic men, answering the call to serve God and others.
